Davis to Lakers isn't done just yet.

And what are they going to do about other players? Or do they plan to just field a three man team of Lebron, Davis, and Kuzma?

Horford and Cs parting ways.

This sucks. Horford was a hell of a good addition to the team, but I get the Cs stance. He's old, has nagging injuries, and wants too much money for diminishing returns.

Welfare

Study claims we judge what people on welfare buy harsher than non-welfare shoppers.

Uh, no fucking shit. The middle class family isn't spending our tax dollars.

What a complete waste of time.

People shot at Raptors parade.

Between this and the cheering for an injured KD, can we end the myth about Canadian kindness?

Harvesting organs from detainees.

Call me crazy, but that sounds like it would be a human rights violation.

Reminded everyone he's "America's dad".

He then went on to give a very biased and incorrect representation of slavery. People REALLY need to stop thinking the only slavery that every occurred was here in the U.S.

X-Men: Dark Phoenix

Simon Kinberg falls on his sword. Respect the shit out of him for this move. Almost all the issues I had with the movie were the writing and direction, so I agree with him. I also appreciate him taking the blame and not throwing it back at the audience by calling them bigots, like Rian Johnson did ...

The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then The Bigfoot (2019)

Sam Elliot's amazing performance drives this character piece. What's it about? Well, it's about a guy who killed Hitler and then has to kill Bigfoot. And it completely works. Why? Because as Sam points out in the movie, you can't kill an idea. What's that mean? The whole movie is an allegory about t...

The Standoff at Sparrow Creek (2018)

A whodunit featuring members of a militia after a mass shooting at a cop's funeral. Well acted, but the writing, while VERY solid in some areas, was flawed. The writer clearly thought it was bullet proof, and maybe he's right from his point of view. However, to the casual eye, it had big flaws. The ...

I think they could, yes.

I don't think there was even remotely enough mass on the planet to fuel them for 2500 years. Not at the rate they were digging.

And how the hell do you burn rocks?

And how are they picking up that habitat ring?

Prospect (2018)

A Sci-Fi Western. A young girl travels with her father through space. Her dad seems to be a junkie and a scrapper. Turns out he's a digger, which gets explained. Things happen and the girl ends up having to make an alliance with the guy who played The Viper on GoT. Two hours of talking later and a c...
