Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (2024)

Me and the kid watched it again, doing our part to get the numbers up. Second time around, I was able to look at the cinematography more, since I wasn't riveted by the story. There are a couple of absolutely brilliant technical film scenes. Hard to describe without being able to talk with my hands. ...

The Fall Guy (2024)

It was ok. I'd say a little more enjoyable than most of the rom/com/action/whatever movies I've seen the last few years. But not life changing.

There must be some clause somewhere that teams are guaranteed fair officiating. I'm surprised the MLB didn't get sued by a team after the 3rd obviously bad call.

So what are they doing, taking 50 resumes, copy/pasting them into a google ai window, and saying "give me the best ones?" I assumed there was some app wrapped around that process that some company was selling.

Just finished Shogun. My kid informed me that season 2 has already been greenlit, in spite of the book ending right where season 1 ended, and there was no sequel to the book. Not a half hour I told him that if there is one universal truth, it's that TV screenwriters think they are better and more ta...

Here's today's batch. In the marinade. I let it sit overnight. PXL_20240528_170557114.MP.jpg Wet, pre-cooking. PXL_20240528_171002295.MP.jpg All done and delicious. PXL_20240528_211449962.MP.jpg I kind of figured out a pro-tip, today. I put the meat on the tray, and had a bunch of marinade to dump. ...

Social media destroys civilization!

A few years ago, Google's main source of income was ad revenue.

I wonder what it'll take to stop the damage that cause. Probably nothing.
