Fallout (Amazon Series)

I didn't know there were
a brazillion vaults.
It really opens up for a brazzilion stories that won't contradict each other.

Fallout (Amazon Series)

Ehhhhhh not so much. I don't even know the plots of the games, but I have a feeling they did their own thing in the overall universe, in the show.

There was some big-picture exposition, in the show.

The First Biden Term

Like.... all none of them? Just about. Technically a tariff on steel, for example, made in china should be more expensive than the stuff made in pennsylvania (if they even still do, which i don't think they do). But then china uses cheap labor, and unions are expensive, so the tariffs are still chea...

They turn around and raise tarriffs on stuff WE sell. My econ prof said tariffs are never doing what they are sold to be doing.

The [s]First[/s] Only Trump term...so far

This is how they got payback on Sarah Palin for daring to run against The Lightbringer. Alaska doesn't allow lawsuits of the governor to be defended from Alaska coffers.... so they started suing her, until she resigned. Then they stopped.

They'll never stop lawsuit fucking trump until he's dead.

Tides where? Tides are different in different places.

Do you mean in places where the crust of the planet is still becoming decompressed and rising from the last ice age? It feels like context is important.

Fallout (Amazon Series)

Episode 4:

I think the big nose brother may be the most interesting character. I'd like to see him pull something off and end up in charge. Seems to be the only intelligent, practical person in the Vault.... aside from the old black lady. She may end up being devious.

Random Funny Internet Things (not pictures)

Yep. I continue to believe that it's all but impossible to look at a situation from one perspective, for a short amount of time, and understand what's going on. Which is what almost everyone on the internet does, every day. I've never gone back to social media, since I cut it out. Pretty sure my bra...

I went through episode 2. Seems to be telling an interesting story. Hard to tell how it'll have any kind of happy ending, how I like. Goggins is buried under make-up, but just barely. I don't like when good actors getting it slathered on until they're unrecognizable. And I like how "okie dokie!...

Good thing it was the way it was, or whites inventing statistics would have been a huge all-time backfire.

Seems there are some hoops before one can successfully vote for a non-traditional party.

How interesting that things got set up like that.

I think my rule of thumb is this:

In 2008 is was the general consensus that mccaine was too old to be president, at 71. So, we can't possibly, in good conscience, vote for someone that old.

Biden is 81.

Enough that the town I camped near past summer had no property under $800k, because Californians have driven up prices, and locals were getting priced out.
