QUOTE It is funny if she is taking the criticism of idiots and making fun of them, but it isn't funny if she is taking the comments to heart and getting angry about them and lashing out. Seems equivalent to me.
Dethklok agrees with Malcolm. QUOTE ... comedy is a way to express hatred; the more they hate the audience, the funnier they will seem.

Eh. If I am laughing with her, it is funny. If I feel she is laughing at me, it is less funny.

If she's angry at you she won't be laughing at you. She'll at best be trying to mock you and probably getting it wrong enough to make it funny again for different reasons.
It sounds like - so far - your problems are about your perception of her comedy rather than the quality of her comedy.

I'm just saying, for someone who doesn't like to hear about people getting their fee-fees hurt, until there's actual evidence of Amy devolving into raving feminism you are straying dangerously close yourself.

So your opinion of this season is that it has the same tone as previous seasons?

QUOTE So your opinion of this season is that it has the same tone as previous seasons? The eps I've seen this season, especially the "12 Angry Men Inside Amy Schumer" thing, was superior to the first season. The "Amy Goes Deep" segment where she interviews the chick with a dick is also good. So if "different tone" = "better" ... yeah, I guess I think the tone's different.

I haven't watched enough yet to judge, to be honest. I've got plenty recorded of both seasons, though, so ask me again in a month or so when I've watched more.
Doesn't mean I can't enjoy pokin' at ya.

My point is that the entire 3rd season thus far has felt defensive and in reply to stupid criticisms leveled against her. Making me LOOK INTO THE MIRROR doesn't really have anything to do with my impression of the show.
I like the show, I think she's funny, and I've always found her fuckable, and all I was saying is that I hope she doesn't get bitter and less funny about it.

The "12 Angry Men" bit is the best thing I've ever seen. I'm only halfway through so far, but I had to stop and say that.
It doesn't hurt that I love that movie and watched it again just this past spring.

It doesn't hurt that I love that movie and watched it again just this past spring. I had feelings reminiscent of some of chappelle's better work. Neal Brennan does not get any of the credit he deserves from that show. Chappelle himself said the reason he and Neal could come up with those skits is because they were never offended by each other so they could talk stereotypes and whatnot without fear of pissing each other off.
Again, as Chappelle has said, Neal was half of that show. Dave was the front man.
