Found this gem on Steam off a recommendation. It's 20% off and isn't officially released until April 23, but is playable in beta and really fun.
Those of you that love Dwarf Fortress/Survival type games will LOOOVE this.
You're a Sherlock Holmes scientist type trying to stay alive in the wilderness. Which is full of monsters, and at night, you huddle near the fire and pray for morning.
Not starving is important, but usually whats gets me are the other two bars you have to worry about: Sanity and Health. Your Sanity is going to take some hits in this game.
It's a game about exploration and figuring it out yourself... so the less said the better for now.

This is released, and is great, cannot reccommend a 10 dollar game more if I wanted to.
They added a bunch of new craftables and armors at the end of the beta/release. I'm still building and discovering. I've started multiple games with the overall goal of shooting up the tech tree and building gunpowder to use it on the Beefalo herds, but keep dying to the most random shit.
I've poured a lot of hours into this thing, and I will just say, this game is HARD.
Edit: What, I have an extra copy of this? First person who responds and isn't a Chinese Spammer/Japanese Stalker (per forum history) gets a free copy.

This one is on my wishlist for the Summer sale.
EDIT: First response! But seriously, if someone else wants it that's cool. I'm not going to get around to playing it for a long time anyway, my backlog in Steam is insane.

It's on my list as well. It was just on sale, but only 10% off. I'll wait until it hits 50%.

They just added some good features to this game I didn't know about. Caves and really different characters.

I just bought four hard drives (3 to round out a new RAID 5 array of SSD drives for my OS, and a 1TB for programs) so I can now have many more games installed instead of having to always be deleting games to make space for others. So I hope to be able to play this once those get here.
Although buying $300 in drives so I can play more different games might have been overkill in this particular case.

Got back into this game with the Shipwrecked expansion that just came out.
Love the island hopping setting, and the new characters. Overall improved gameplay, and the original was fun and I sunk a ton of hours into it.
Launch trailer here.
