My initial reaction too. This board skin is easier on the eyes and more space efficient.

I haven't had a chance to go over the cosmetics... it turns out the first nice weekend in Spring isn't the best time to give me a computer project.
But I agree with the new board looking somewhat... disconcerting. Going to work on getting new skins.

It actually started out even narrower, I expanded it to 1400 pixels, or something. I can go furhter.

Last note: on this forum, clicking anywhere in the horizontal band of a topic gets you in. The new forum seems to make you hover over the title or leftmost icon.
