Still less scary than Trump's rallies.

I'll take Bernie over Hillary.  Cruz may also be pushing me towards Rubio.
QUOTE
Cruz was asked on Fox News' "O'Reilly Factor" if he would round up the 12 million illegal aliens in the country, and how.

"Listen, we should enforce the law. How do we enforce the law? Yes, we should deport them. We should build a wall. We should triple the Border Patrol," Cruz said. "And federal law requires that anyone here illegally that's apprehended should be deported."

Because some on-the-fence voters might be waiting for Ted to swing further to the right...

I'll take Trump over Hillary.  I'll take anyone else over Trump.  Of the candidates left available I'll take Bernie, but only if there's a strongly Republican congress to keep him in check.

Analysis.
QUOTE
On the Democratic side, both Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders used mostly positive language early on, according to Petralia's analysis. Though in the Feb. 11 debate – which fell shortly after primaries actually got underway – sentiments went a little bit south.

Among the Republican candidates, Ted Cruz, Rubio and the now departed Jeb Bush were mostly positive, while Chris Christie, who dropped out of the race after the New Hampshire primary, sometimes delved relatively deeply into the negative.

Donald Trump was by far the most negative candidate, dipping to even 13 percent in one debate, meaning only 13 percent of the phrases he used were positive.

I want him in because I'm convinced his agenda is so out there that nothing would happen.  You want Hillary signing laws and shit?

I kinda agree with you on gridlock, but I'm concerned Bernie for president motivates the young "give me everything without having to work for it" generation and carries the Senate and possible the House as well.

Also, I don't want Bernie representing this country to foreign officials.  I think Hillary can deal with Putin better than Sanders.

Bernie getting elected is damn near the best scenario the pachyderms can hope for if they want to get Congressional seats 2 years from this November.

The main problem with Hillary - besides her being the most awful person alive - is that the agrees with the Republicans when it comes to some issues, like wanting to take money from corporations in exchange for political favors or selling off our freedoms to the highest bidder.  Bernie + Congress Repubs = nothing gets done.  Hillary + Congress Repubs = all your data are belong to Uncle Sam, privacy and liberty can go to hell.

CNN had a headline about Sanders promising to fight the top 10% of Americans.

Apparently, Bernie and I are at war.  Fuck him up his old ass.

Yep, just like the dudes that founded this country.  When laws go batshit insane, it's the only reasonable response.

I think Hillary can deal with Putin better than Sanders.

"The president has to apologize and postpone the meeting again.  It seems there was a third hard disk failure and all her preparation notes have to be redone from scratch.  We're going to handwrite them and make photocopies this time."

[weeks pass]

"Hey Vlad, we've got to push this back again.  Our Xerox machines got hit by a North Korean computer virus.  It also seems none of our pens have ink, and that's fucked up because our invoice clearly states we paid ten thousand dollars for each.  You figure they'd have ink, but anyhow, we're busying importing pencils from the finest schools in the D.C. area.  It's going to take a little longer than we estimated due to our couriers continually getting caught in gang crossfire and random shootings.  The burnout meth cooks in this town use the pencils as filler in their local 'Potomac Piss' blend."

He really looks like the left-wing Cheney in that one.

You're not considering the probability that the identity of the president has jack-shit to do with that mindset compared to credit-card-reliant retailers pushing instant gratification and the much more intense circle-jerking that's possible with everyone so inter-connected by smartphones.

And if you think Bernie is somehow less scaly and slippery than any other politician, I have to wonder about you. The dude has been a professional U.S. senator since about 1663.

He frightens me less than Hillary, for aforementioned privacy issues and other things.

Oh, don't get me wrong.  Compared to the average criminal I'm sure Bernie's moral compass is a hideous disaster.  But relatively speaking - when compared to the other people currently running for President - he's practically a saint.
