He was misguided and had some bad luck, but I don't ultimately think he was proven wrong.

A small market team that always struggles to be relevant should try the strategy next time.

I can see NASCAR executives being pissed off about that headline. Ha!

Anyway, if it's a tiny thing like the one pictured, it wouldn't thrill me, but I wouldn't demand the head of the owner. Realistically, we already have ads on players at the pro level. Think about it. NFL players get in trouble all the time for sporting shoes or whatever with the wrong brand logo.

I don't want to see a player decked out like Nascar drivers though. It's a multibillion dollar sport, so let's keep the greed at least slightly in check, ok?
