Synopsis:
QUOTE
The concept grew out of [Travis] Oates' desire to write a horror film with no villain, no blood, and no deaths.
That's like making a porno with no sex, nudity, or money shots. Â One wonders why it hasn't been done. Â Oh, wait, it was but no one was stupid enough to drag it out for 90 minutes or make a feature film.
Review:
The concept up top speaks for itself. Â This flick is ridiculously fucking dumb. Â Nothing builds suspense for me like waiting for the deadly cutaway shot and subsequent return to ... NOTHING. Â That's the payoff for every buildup, nothing. Â You know what happens at the climax? Â Nothing. Â Ending? Â Nothing. Â That leaves the entertainment value to be provided by the interactions among the characters. Â If there's one thing indie horror is known for, it's the interpersonal relationships in the script. Â Not like the audience tunes in to see most of the cast axed or anything.
Verdict:
This movie is to the horror genre what riding a tricycle with training wheels at 5mph while clad in bubble wrap is to racing.
