There's a high-red texture pack out there, and stuff to get it working on WinXP.
I'll probably be reloading this game in the near future...

Interesting. I'm thinking of running through HL and HL2 again, maybe I'll do the prettier DN first.

I played through again using the high resolution pack and realized Duke had a LOT of game play. For it's time this was a looong game.
I didn't remember playing through "The Birth" at all, but I'm thinking now that it was added on for the Atomic Pack.
Playing through again, I realized Duke was filled with a lot of humor (particularly due to Easter eggs), but the best laugh was the ending that said "Look for a sequel to Duke Nukem 3D coming soon."
