For you old sk001 boyzies & girlzies. Apparently, he wants to shut down WoW. I applaud the decision.

I'm not seeing what's impressive about the interview though. All I see is a bitter old schooler who can't accept change <--- that's written by an old schooler who thinks MMOs peaked at UO.
I mean, is he fucking serious about bringing text back? There will always be a place for text adventurers and MMOs, but that doesn't mean their way is the right way. He blames graphically based MMOs as being limited. Well, I submit that text based MMOs are just as limited. After all, the limitations come from the human designing the place. If the human in either case is limited, the game will be.

Text-based MMOGs will make a comeback right around the time command line Linux & Winblows swap market shares.

Agreed.
That's our opinion, yes, but then again, we weren't raised in the "Time Out"/"Everyone's a Winner!" society.
That's what UO had more than any other game, realistic human behavior. They should've put that shit on the box cover.

Yeah, present-day UO is a shadow of its own UO-1998 greatness.
