Has anyone successfully saved off their "The Sims" directory, restored it on a freshly reloaded (or completely new) system, and gotten it to work?
The best I can ever get it to work is just saving the hundreds and hundreds of player-made skins (and such) that she's dl'd. I've never been able to get a saved game to work.
We finally got her a bigger hard drive, and this is now an issue. If I can't save her game, she'll lose it.
-------------- I don't give a fuck!

Sorry bud, my wife likes to start her Sims over, so this has never been an issue.
How does your wife like it compared to the original? My wife seems to prefer the original.
