Legend of Zelda version of Monopoly.
Isn't this like a radio only version of a TV show?

Monopoly is such a badly designed game. Just plain awful. I have no idea why it continues to be so popular.

Redesign it. Seriously. I'll bet that's something you could sell. Just remember the K.I.S.S. rule. People don't want to go to college just to know how to play the new and improved Monopoly.
A board game that always annoyed me was Life. I think it's a great concept, but there are too many career changing squares. Also, it's WAY too easy to get married in the game versus real life.

I loved Life as a kid.
I liked Monopoly too.

It's okay, Catt, back then we didn't know what good board games were. How could we?
Heck, I even kind of liked Sorry.

Sorry could be renamed, "Fuck You" and it would be even more accurate.

I think the most common complaint I hear about old boards games is how the Mousetrap never worked.
