So this started development years after Star Citizen's kickstarter? Will probably beat them to the release date. One spaceship captain game to rule them all, I say!

Also the gameplay looks terrible.

Something's fishy here.  I recognize those people.  They've all got shows on Felicia Day's Geek & Sundry channel.  Maybe they've just been hired to make commercials for them and it's all legit, but it just seems odd.
