The MW:O tourney was over, and I didn't want to play NBA2k14 so I was looking through my list of games in Steam and noticed "How to Survive". I figured I'd give it a try.
It's a 3rd person iso perspective zombie/survival/crafting game.
You land on an island and immediately meet a guy who sets you on your journey.
From that point forward the game is all about fighting zombies, hunting, crafting weapons, making armor, mixing herbs to make medicine, eating, drinking, sleeping safely, etc.
I think you only get one life too. There are tombstones all over the place representing other folks who died during their adventure.
There is also a guide and its author telling you how to survive in a very charismatic way. It's similar in style to the TF2 videos.
It's on sale currently for $3.75, which is 75% and I'd recommend checking it out.

Had a house of sicks kids throwing up at random times tonight, so I stayed offline and went back to this game.
I was able to finish it. I'd say there's 10 hours of game play and that included all the side quests. Not a bad game.
Very simple and enjoyable. A different take on the zombie genre.
If you see it for under $5 again, it's worth a play through if it interests you.

$1.50 the last 12 hours on Steam. Ridiculously good price for a really good game.
