Because nothing says, "I'm equal to a man," like the government forcing employers to hire more of you.

Their society is getting very top heavy as far as age goes. Â In an entitlement-laden game, your work force somehow has to keep up with that shit. Â This isn't so much about women's rights as it is about economics. Â It's still being played off like it's the former, though.
Ironically, working like beavers on a double shift is probably causing some of these issues.
