Because actress was scared of dying.
QUOTE
The appeals court found the actress, Cindy Lee Garcia, was entitled to have the video taken down from YouTube, saying she faced legitimate threats and had copyright protections to her acting work.
Sounds like she totally reneged on a contract.
QUOTE
Garcia had been cast in a minor role in a film called "Desert Warrior" and was paid $500 by director Mark Youssef, only to discover the material was used in the anti-Muslim video. Her voice was dubbed over with an insult to the prophet Mohammed. She contends she has been subjected to ongoing death threats since it appeared.
Interesting. Â Because the name of the film in question is called The Innocence of Muslims. Â I'll be damned. Â Sounds more like the director was a dishonest asshole that probably should have confirmed all his cast members shared his fervor. Or at least been up front with them about what he was going to do with their performances.
