This is another nail in the "major networks can all suck my left nut" coffin. Goddamn those Aereo dudes for making entertainment more accessible. Had the networks not had their heads up their asses and just offered this to consumers from the get-go, I might be kinder. I assume they're still pissed that VHS recording is still technically legal.

I believe it will eventually be defeated.
At the end of the day, they're making money off of someone else's product.
They're doing it without the express written consent of the network and the National Football League...

I'm sure that their legal righteousness will comfort them as they piss off the viewing public more and their profits fall more. I can't fathom why a network wouldn't want to make it as easy as fucking humanly possible for people to view their shit. They could offer the same beam of info Aereo is offering. More exposure, more adverts, more pretending the adverts work.

QUOTE At the end of the day, they're making money off of someone else's product. At the end of the day unless you work in manufacturing we are all making money off of someone else's products. Â That's what a service economy is.
They aren't reselling the TV signals. Â They are providing a DVR service for your TV viewing. Â Perfectly legal.
QUOTE I believe it will eventually be defeated. So far that looks very unlikely, baring massive bribes of Supreme Court Justices.
