Interesting game where you get to see Google Street View images somewhere in the world and make your best guess of where you are based on what you see.  I think I did pretty well with 14,235.

Pretty nice when they drop you right in front of a unique landmark like Lenin's tomb.

Well, I'm dumb.

I came up just shy of 10K because it never occurred to me until question number 5 that I should zoom in on the minimap to make my picks more accurate.

Also, are you guys using the arrows on the map to explore the locales? (Didn't think about that until #5 as well.)

Yeah, that's how I saw the river name.  I saw a sign up the road and went to read it, and was like "Hey!  I know where that is!"

Here's a good one where all locations have stuff besides trees around: http://goo.gl/ZyA7e

I got one 0.52km from the right location.

I usually go at least a little down the road.  Rarely more than about a 1/4 mile.

I drive til either I find some signage or I just give up. But yeah, it seems like there could be a penalty for driving, or for time.

I think it should be fine to move around.  If you were dropped somewhere you'd move around a bit to figure out where you were, you wouldn't just stand there turning in place.
