As indicated in the article, that could mean bad things coming for people in Syria.

Shit appears to be getting increasingly fucked up over there. Â Let's take a look at some of these countries:
Tunisia: resident dictator flees to Saudi Arabia, shit is reasonably calm, limited armed violence
Egypt: resident dictator jailed, shit still fucked up
Libya: resident dictator beaten to death by pissed off mob
Yemen: resident dictator exiled, then came back, shit still fucked up
Syria: open civil war, shit extremely fucked up
Bahrain: gov't becoming increasingly more oppressive, shit getting more fucked up
Looks like the longer the revolution is forced to go on, the less merciful it becomes.
