Texan gets 9th DUI, gets 80 years in prison.  Is this good or bad?  While this isn't exemplary behaviour, let's keep in mind that people who've committed second degree murder have been known to get lighter sentences.

I would say that it is way overboard, since a DUI is a crime not because someone did some harm, but that supposedly someone is more likely to cause harm.  I have a problem with that kind of thing in general.
