COLUMBUS, Ohio — An Ohio lawmaker has been indicted on charges of bribery, election falsification and filing a false ethics statement.
A prosecutor says the three felony bribery charges handed down Tuesday against state Rep. W. Carlton Weddington of Columbus are the first against a state lawmaker since 1912.
Weddington was expected to turn himself in later Tuesday.
A message seeking comment was left at Weddingotn's legislative office.
But really, there is only one answer when the political party of a corrupt politician is left out of the story, so yeah.
