I don't watch news on TV or read papers, so I have no idea what the MSM is talking about.

1. HUGE tea-party demonstration in DC

2. ACORN is as crooked as a dog's hind leg

CNN.com had something about the tea party in D.C. yesterday.  I had to read that shyte on the 'net, though.

ACORN responded Saturday by blaming FOX News and conservatives for fueling the controversy.

"By its actions, Fox is not a news outlet but rather an advocacy organization for rightwing interests that seek to defeat healthcare reform and stymie solutions to the foreclosure crisis," the group said in a statement to FOXNews.com.

You're blaming/crediting Fox News w\ your downfall?  Shit, if anyone's running the PR at Fox, print that shit up on t-shirts.

Is it just me, or did the Million Man March get a ton of news coverage in comparison, especially because it was supposedly such a huge crowd.

I guess two million white people is less important than one million black people.

I've heard conflicting numbers, as few as 60k.  But that has been the low end, and still sounds like a lot.

I just went to cnn.com and msnbc.com to see what they estimated the numbers were in DC protesting, today... I don't think they are reporting it at all.  At least I didn't see anything about it after a quick scan of their front pages.  foxnews.com, at the moment, has it right there on top with a picture.

So far the highest estimate is 2 million, and the lowest is 20,000.  Which gives us an estimate of 1,010,000 +/- 990,000, an error range of 98%.  You'd think we could get more reliable information from the media on a possibly huge public event.

Also interesting how CNN leads the story on political protesters with racism.  No bias there.

Any bets on how long before they start hinting that the protesters may or may not all be domestic terrorists?

Didn't it take place shortly after the Rodney King riots?  The point was to show that black people were able to gather and protest without burning and destroying their own neighborhoods?  That's just my guess.  Did no googling for backup.
