I'm doing my usual ballot research to figure out who to vote for, and I just discovered that the guy running for reelection as my state senator died yesterday. Since 2004 he has consistently been ranked as the worst state senator by Texas Monthly magazine, and he's been in the news from time to time for his affairs and his tendency to play the race card on almost every issue.
But now he's got my vote. I've said for years that the only good politician is a dead one, and now I've got to put my vote where my mouth is.

I voted for a dead dude precisely one time. Â It took John fucking Ashcroft to convince me to do so.
