Anyone seeing this match between Mahut and Isner?
I'm not a tennis guy (despite playing in high school), but this is incredible. They're in the fifth set with the score tied at 40 games a piece.
That's not a misprint.
They've been playing for close to 7 hours. Apparently, this match started last night, was called due to darkness, and since they began playing again this morning over 20 other matches have started and finished.
It's a marathon!

44-44.
Isner is gassed. He literally whiffed at a slow moving ball and isn't even bothering to chase a lot of shots.
They've set all sorts of records.
Meanwhile, the sun is starting to go down...

I'm "watching" the stats online... crazy.
I guess if they carry on long enough, they can go til the next day and get some sleep?

The sun must be pretty low now as even with a wide shot I can't see shadows or sunlight anymore. When I started this chain the sun was still shining on half of their court.
They're now at 47-46 Isner, but Mahut is about to serve.
They've more than doubled the previous record of games in a set. I keep waiting for one of them to just fall over dead.

49-49.
This is ridiculous.
They just showed a wide shot and there's a hill to the west of their court that is just wall to wall people watching this match.

For those curious, they stopped play at 59-59 and are resuming again today.
The first four sets took them 2 hours and 50 minutes (approx)to complete. The fifth set took them over 7 hours and it's still not over.

They're playing and Isner is up 69-68 at the moment.

Isner wins!!! 70-68.
Official match time: 11 hours and 5 minutes.
I think Mahut is going to kill himself.
