Godzilla Online?

Aliens Online?

WTF? When did those come out?

< The Aliens Online game is nearly 10 years old. >

GameStorm recommends a 90MHz Pentium with 16MB RAM and a 2MB video card, but on a 133MHz Pentium with double the RAM and video memory, the frame rate when playing as a colonial Marine is simply unacceptable. (The frame rate is just fine when playing as an Alien, probably because the entire game display is more or less monochrome.)

I hadan account in the beta.  I was on early enough that I got to make a name of one of the main movie characters.

Ok, it was "Newt," but still.

I don't remember that game at all.

I got a beta CD... from... maybe some game mag?

It was back in my OAPI days.

It must've sucked.

It was interesting.  The first time I'd every heard the distinctive sound of one of those rifles, in a game.  Not very populated, at the time, which is bad for an online game.  I ignored some other dude who was giving me orders about how to kill aliens, so the two hours I played was him hunting me in the halls of the infested colony.
