< Reveal Trailer >Cannot wait for this. Day one buy for me. Warhammer nerd, check, Total War nerd, check. Confirmed playable factions on the first release - Orcs & Goblins, Empire, Dwarves, Vampiric Undead, also the trailer hints Chaos of the Tzeetch variety, but that faction hasn't been confirmed playable. Why they didn't call this game "Total Warhammer" is beyond me. Day one buy, earlier if I get cool things on the pre-order. Wayy aside. I need a place to vent and this is a good a spot as any. My adult soccer team had our season-end playoff game last night. This is maybe my 3rd 3-month season with the group, which plays at a local NASL (below MLS) complex. 1-7 divisions with 8 teams each, and we are in the middle. In all 3 three seasons, we've wrecked faces in the regular season, getting second or better, normally only dropping a game or two. Same with this season. Then we get to the playoffs and choke, and don't move up. Guess what we did last night? Yep. Playoff game, win and move up to the next division. We even stomped the team we were playing last week to the tune of 6-2(they were in 3rd). Last night we were completely off our game, and couldn't finish. I was as much to blame as anybody, with probably our two best chances, both shots fired right at the keepers feet. A foot left or right for either shot and it's a goal and a completely different game. We lost 2-1. The other team moved up. FUCK. It's just an adult soccer league, but goddamn i'm still infuriated. I almost got in a fight on the way home with some asshole who was texting and almost hit me when i was walking back from my parking deck. I promptly quarantined myself for the rest of the evening.
