< Link to the browser game. >Anyone play this game? Kind of cool. You start the game up and then it becomes as interactive as you want. Sit there and play by clicking or walk away for weeks and come back to spend your money. Apparently there is an end game, but I have no clue about it. Not much of a game, but a good time killer for dull moments. Posted by TheCatt on Mar. 13 2015,12:21
This game is retarded. But I'm up to level 4.

It's very addictive and takes zero time. Completely retarded, but I want the next hero so I can beat the next boss... You can save your cookie under options too. (Save your game) Posted by TheCatt on Mar. 13 2015,12:58
Level 5 gets more complicated, time-based so have to have the adventurers that strike for you to keep moving without playing.
Posted by TheCatt on Mar. 13 2015,13:39
Ah, every 5th level is a boss. Level 25...

Hah, I just made it to 65... that dude's a fucking beast.I got the option to ascend now, but not sure what that means. Posted by Leisher on Mar. 13 2015,21:28

(Leisher @ Mar. 13 2015,22:17) QUOTE Just realized I left work with my PC running, so I should have a ton of money on Monday morning. Well, except time is linear, and progression is geometric. Everyone in my family is sick. I'm up to level 90 now. I tried reading that wiki, but couldn't understand ascension. It may be lack of sleep, I'll try again another day. Posted by TheCatt on Mar. 14 2015,11:59
At level 100, you get a free random "gild" (boost) to a hero. I recommend saving the game before 100, and see if it will change who the random boost is if you re-load. Cuz I got a sucky one.also, looks like you make money while gone anyway, without needing to leave the screen open. Posted by Leisher on Mar. 14 2015,12:28

For the longest time, I was ignoring the low-level heroes. Well, around levels 135-145 it gets super hard to level up the highlevel ones, and the gap between heroes is MASSIVE. It would take at least a few days to get to the next hero, $-wise.So I started leveling up the low-level ones. Apparently once you hit level 200, they do 4x damage every 25 levels. At level 900 they start to matter again. This also increases the # of souls you get for ascending later. At level 1000, they get a 10x damage bonus, which makes them very relevant again. Unfortunately, leveling from 950 to 1000 is crazy expensive as well. Might also take a day or two. So basically the game slows down pretty hard around 140. Posted by TheCatt on Mar. 15 2015,13:40
OK, I figured out ascension. Basically, it's not worth it until you hit about level 140. At that time, make sure you have upgraded the heroes as much as possible. (Total Hero Levels on stats tab). For every 2,000 upgrades, you get 1 soul.I had 16,000 levels when I ascended. I then got 8 souls. Each soul provides a 10% DPS and click bonus (visible at the bottom of the stats page). But you basically restart, and have to level up again. I assume you get to 140 or so again, rinse/repeat. You can also spend these souls on Ancients, who have various abilities. That being said, the DPS/click bonuses seem more valuable. Posted by TheCatt on Mar. 16 2015,06:03
The hero souls made progression a lot faster. I made it back to level 140 or so in about half a day, versus 2 days. Right now just letting it farm gold. If I reset now, I get 12 more souls, so 120% more damage. Tempted to try level 150.

I just logged on and my heroes farmed 2,071q over the weekend. I'm guessing that'll get me up a few levels during lunch.

(Leisher @ Mar. 16 2015,09:21) QUOTE I just logged on and my heroes farmed 2,071q over the weekend. I'm guessing that'll get me up a few levels during lunch. Yeah. The level I'm at right now, the #s are in S and O. O is what I need to upgrade. S is what most damage is, and the $ I earn. Posted by Leisher on Mar. 16 2015,12:43
So I'm on lvl 84. My heroes ranks in order: 500 400 300 300 300 200 100 200 200 200 200 200 100 100 100 125 125 76 75 51 (Amnehotep and his next skill is Ascension) 38 10 Should I ascend now? Should I wait? The four ancients I'm being offered are: Fragsworth (+20% click damage) Vaagur (-5% skill cooldown) Juggernaut (+.01% DPS per click combo) Solomon (+5% Primal Hero Souls) Are they all shit? Also, what's with that green present that floats bye? I can't do anything with it. Posted by TheCatt on Mar. 16 2015,14:03
1) I stop leveling people up once they get their max benefit thingy (until right before I ascend, then I spend cash). You can have a setting that allows you to see what % of your total DPS a given hero is. I bet those first severals are all 0.0% (ie: worthless)2) Wait until around level 130-135. How many souls is it offering? There's a big wall around level 135-145, so that's the natural stopping point. 3) I'm not sure. I don't know a ton about ancients yet. I picked the +25% gold when you're idle one, but it's random. 4) Green present takes 50 clicks, it then randomly awards one of your power-ups to start immediately. Also, there are little shirts and snowflake icons (and boxes, I think?) that show up from time to time and offer LOTS of money. Posted by TPRJones on Mar. 16 2015,18:03
Well, this is addicting.
Posted by Leisher on Mar. 17 2015,06:28
I knew about the jackets, cubes, and snowflakes.I think it's offering me 2 souls: "0 Hero Souls. Ascend for +2". I'm now 3 heroes past Amenhotep. He's level 83. When I get him to 150, that's the Ascension power. Does it happen as soon as I buy it or do I have the option at that point to activate it whenever? UPDATE: I beat the boss at lvl 100 during lunch and I got a gilded hero, a hero soul, and my ascension bonus went to +3. Posted by TPRJones on Mar. 17 2015,20:46
Just did my second ascension. I now have three ancients (Dora @ Lvl 2 and Juggernaut and Vaagur @ Lvl 1), 15 banked hero souls, and six gilded heroes.I haven't gotten higher than Frostleaf on the heroes yet. The cost jump from Frostleaf to Dread Knight is insane. Posted by Leisher on Mar. 17 2015,21:45
I've been playing longer than both of you, yet I haven't ascended once and only got past lvl 100 today. Clearly I'm doing something wrong. Although I really don't "play" much. It's typically running in the background while I work and I only play at work. Posted by TPRJones on Mar. 17 2015,21:56
It gets much easier with each ascension. Well, as long as you do it right. My first was early this morning after letting it run all night without me, at level 117. The main thing is to then dump all your cash into leveling up all your cheap heroes as high as you can to maximize hero points for the next run. I got 7, two of which I spent on ancients and 5 I kept for the DPS bonus. It ran all day and that let me do a second ascension right before that post up there at level 157. That second time through the first 30 levels flew past on their own without slowing down (after your first ascension there's an option for the game to keep going up levels without you having to click them). This third time through the starting spring didn't slow until level 60. Those hero point bonuses are huge. EDIT: During those early level "sprints" I wasn't completely hands off. I was leveling up as quick as I could click the level buttons and triggering skills when they were available. Just to clarify. But the levels flew by. Posted by TheCatt on Mar. 18 2015,06:06
Wow, TPR's made it further than I have. I did my third ascension yesterday at 149. I've got 29 hero souls now, and am back up to Level 132, so I'll be ascending again this morning.Leisher - Once you get the best skill each character has, don't bother leveling them up again until after you get Frostleaf up to 100. then get the lower level ones up so you can get more souls. Yes, once you "buy" ascension, you ascend. Posted by Leisher on Mar. 18 2015,06:53
Frostleaf is the next champ available to me. I'm on lvl 111 and should easily get to 120 today. What's frustrating is I just beat 110's boss, and got another Gilded hero, but it picked the exact same hero as the first time I got a gilded hero. So now he's a 2X gilded hero. I realized I did make a mistake yesterday. I was leveling lower tier characters instead of the highest tier guy. This was barely moving my damage, so I wasn't moving up levels and making money as fast. First thing I did this morning was power level the highest tier guy and cash is pouring in because I could move to a higher level. Posted by TheCatt on Mar. 18 2015,07:18
Yep, it's all about the latest and greatest hero.I need 140N gold to get Treebeast up to 1000. Which hero did you get gilded? Posted by Leisher on Mar. 18 2015,07:29
Sir George II, King's GuardFor skills, when do you guys use The Dark Ritual? Posted by TheCatt on Mar. 18 2015,07:35
I use the dark ritual as often as I can. It takes 8 hours, and it's a permanent 5% DPS boost until you ascend.Have you tried saving your game, then redoing the 10 level to see if you can get a better gild? I might try that at 150. Posted by Leisher on Mar. 18 2015,07:37
I'll try the save game thing on the next one.
Posted by TPRJones on Mar. 18 2015,07:46
I've used Dark Ritual every time it's been available. Which has been twice. I ascended both times before it became available again. And oh yeah it's absolutely all about the latest and greatest hero. I don't take a hero past about level 10 until I've got at least eight newer heros below them. Those first ten levels of each hero are more effective for DPS per gold spent than all the levels beyond that combined. That changes around the time you get to Midas, though, because the price curve starts to spike and you really need to start picking up skills by then to advance past the bosses. That's where I start leveling up to each one's last skill with only a couple of heroes below them purchased. Then at Frostleaf is when I start leveling everyone and ascend. I don't know if I'll ever have the patience to get past Frostleaf. Posted by TheCatt on Mar. 18 2015,08:32
I forgot to do the save/reload thing... got gilded Dread Knight at level 150.So... that'll be helpful some decade. Posted by TheCatt on Mar. 18 2015,09:43
The # of hero souls goes up, finally, at level 155. I got +4 for beating a primal thingy.I'm going to try 160 as well, why not. I got treebeast to 1000, trying to get Brit there too, but it may be just a bit too far to reach. I spent some souls on ancients. Not sure it was worth it. Posted by Leisher on Mar. 18 2015,13:00
So I'm at lvl 121. I have Frosty at lvl 1 and I'm only 3,500S away from being able to buy the Dread Knight. Do I level up Frosty or just buy the Dread Knight first? BTW, Treebeast was Gilded, so that'll help my early game I guess? Nevermind, I'm not 3,500S away. His price is in "U". Wow. Posted by TPRJones on Mar. 18 2015,13:55
Yeah. He costs 10,000,000,000,000,000S.An insane jump in price. I can only imagine how much the rest will cost. Posted by TheCatt on Mar. 18 2015,13:59

Once you max out frost to level 100, tree becomes relevant again as you will want to upgrade him to 1000 for the next damage boost. There is a big boost at level 1000 for each character. I wish I hadn't spent my souls though. Probably should have just kept accumulating them to 100 or more. Posted by Leisher on Mar. 18 2015,14:58
I still haven't' ascended. I guess I should probably do that tomorrow during lunch? I'll be between lvl 130-140. Posted by TheCatt on Mar. 18 2015,15:18

I ascended today and, paying close attention to the game, made it back to level 140 in about 4 hours.

Spending souls on ancients really depends on the ancients you get to choose from. For only 3 souls (base cost plus two upgrades) I've got 20% off skill cooldowns. That's something. Posted by TheCatt on Mar. 18 2015,18:21

The first one I got is 25% gold when idle. That's OK. One I have does +11% per level to soul DPS (which is 10% per soul, so basically, it's +1% DPS). Then I have two that help with click damage. Do either of you use a click bot at all? Posted by Leisher on Mar. 18 2015,18:22
I don't but I want one. I've started playing at home now too. It's running on my second screen when I'm playing other games on my first screen. I have a problem. Posted by TheCatt on Mar. 18 2015,19:04

LOL, that's what I'm doing. I am using RDP on my server so that it can click bot in the background right now. < This one works well > I set the delay between click to 10ms. It looks like the game caps you at 80 clicks/s either way. And I have it set to start clicking based on a key, and if I leave the mouse hovering for 3s. I've only accidentally left it hovering on the wrong thing once. Posted by TPRJones on Mar. 19 2015,04:03
I set up a macro last night before gong to bed that every ten minutes would click all the skills, the progression toggle, and a level on Frostleaf. I haven't look at the details of the results yet, but I did see that I was at level 174 before closing the window when I got up. That seems pretty good.At high levels it's all about DPS, so I'm not sure an autoclicker for attacking would help much. Posted by TheCatt on Mar. 19 2015,05:32
Well, I setup a bot to autoclick for me, and run through the skills every minute.I did not set it up to autolevel. I ended up with 1,500N of gold from overnight, which still wasn't enough to level up my next minor hero to 1,000, so I reset. As for DPS: my auto-clicker does 80 clicks/s. Even without criticals, that's more damage than my auto-DPS does. Posted by Leisher on Mar. 19 2015,07:30
I think I might ascend today. My heroes are sitting at: 946 900 700 x8 600 x3 500 x3 300 x6 150 x2 100 and Frostleaf is at 52. I'm being offered +10 to ascend, I've got 3 (1 twice) gilded heroes, and should be able to beat the lvl 140 boss before I ascend. Posted by TheCatt on Mar. 19 2015,07:41
That sounds about right. I'd go ahead and do it. If the level 140 isn't primal (ie. no soul), just go ahead and ascend now.
Posted by Leisher on Mar. 19 2015,07:54
I just looked and the guy at 135 has 2 souls to give. I tried beating him really quick, but I had 10,000s to go with no time left, so I'll easily beat him during lunch. At that point, I'll ascend.

I got really lucky on souls this morning, and picked up 7 from bosses (the 1 at level 100 is automatic, the others are luck). Add 7-8 more from hero levels, and this will be a good level up. Posted by TPRJones on Mar. 19 2015,08:06
I was wrong, I'm at 173. Still, not bad. But I can't even kill one critter on this level in a reasonable amount time (it's been an hour an I'm till on 0/10), so I think it's time to ascend for +22 souls.
Posted by Leisher on Mar. 19 2015,08:27
I got the guy at 135 so I'm ascending for +12 now, but I want my skills to reset so I can take a shot at 140. If I fail or he's not offering souls I'll just ascend.
Posted by Leisher on Mar. 19 2015,10:05
The guy at 40 had nothing and I couldn't kill him. Thus, I ascended and things are going fast. However, for the upgrades, specifically the ones aimed at improving your overall DPS. Should I sit on those until I boost my DPS for massive gains later? For example: A hero at lvl 25 gets a skill you can buy that boosts their DPS by 100%. Let's say their DPS is 10. Do I buy that skill when they hit they level or do I wait to buy that skill until I "have to" later in the game when their level might be 100 and their DPS is 40? I would assume the longer you wait on doing those upgrades, the higher your overall DPS by the end? Posted by TheCatt on Mar. 19 2015,11:01
The way I understand it, those skills are just a permanent multiplier, so when they're base DPS goes up, the multiplier impacts that. I could be wrong. After my great run, I've made it to 140 twice, with 0 primals. ![]() Posted by Leisher on Mar. 19 2015,11:02
I guess the only way to check would be to start two new games and advance exactly the same until you buy the first multiplier.
Posted by TPRJones on Mar. 19 2015,11:06
I think buying the first skill as you go is best. They're basically a x2 that still applies to all future leveling, so they're worth it.Still until you get way down the list only the first 10 levels of a hero matter, after which their gain per cost is less than just getting the next hero started. Then go back later when the cost of leveling them further is insignificant based on your current income, although they won't really matter again until they hit 1000. This game is highly exponential. Posted by TheCatt on Mar. 19 2015,11:06
(Leisher @ Mar. 19 2015,14:02) QUOTE I guess the only way to check would be to start two new games and advance exactly the same until you buy the first multiplier. That sounds like a lot of effort. Unlike the past 6 days I've been playing this game. Posted by Leisher on Mar. 19 2015,11:20
I did it.Treebeast got his 100% boost at lvl 10 and at lvl 15 was doing 153. Treebeast got his 100% boost at lvl 11 and at lvl 15 was doing 153. Ok, I fucked up on that second play through and forgot what I was doing or I would have hit the 100% bonus at lvl 15, not 11. Still, I think it proved the point. Get those skills whenever, it's all the same. Posted by TheCatt on Mar. 19 2015,12:42
Yeah, now that I think about it: a few of the skills are ones that increase you clicking power in ratio to your DPS, and my click power keeps going up when my DPS does, so that makes sense.
Posted by TheCatt on Mar. 19 2015,18:04
10th ascension today. Can run to L100 in <60 minutes. Up to L150 in 90 minutes. On a run right now where I've found 10 souls so far... Posted by TPRJones on Mar. 19 2015,18:17

Left my stuff on overnight, got about 25,000N gold.Got Tree, Ivan, and Brittany up to 1k. Beat level 170 with 2 boosts, and am up to 173. Got another gild. Going to see if any more primals at 175, then probably reset. Made it to 185, beat 185. Gold accumulation at this level is slow (100N / monster), relative to what is needed for upgrades (25-83,000 N ). But I got two more gilds. May peak at 190, but it's getting sloggy. For the record, I left 2 machines on last night at the same point in the game. 1 with click-bot, 1 without. Clickbot got 25,000N gold. Non-click-bot got 2,000N gold. (Clickbot was also cycling through boosts), but neither was leveling. *edit* Level 190 - 6 souls for a primal, won by using 3 boosts. At 192, getting 200N / monster gold... going to see how long this can last. *edit* Level 200 - 7 souls for a primal, had to use all boosts in order to win. Kinda finally getting enough gold to keep going. Going to check out 205... I guess I'll reset whenever I run out of primals. The gilds are nice. Right now I'm at 29 souls if I ascend. 122d gold to get Tree to level 1100 from 1075, which is the next damage boost, have 70.5d... Posted by TheCatt on Mar. 20 2015,09:45
I can now get up to 150 with minimal skills, pretty fast.I degilded two high-level heroes, and managed to get an extra gild on Tree and Buffy, who appear to be the workhorses of the 150-250 levels. Posted by TPRJones on Mar. 20 2015,12:23
Juggernaut is an ancient whose skill is that with each click in a combo you get +0.01% DPS. That's not much, but with a click bot running there's a lot of clicking going on. It built up to +875% DPS overnight. But I think I'm done with this game for now. It's just not fun at this point with all this grind. Posted by TheCatt on Mar. 20 2015,12:46

I decided I put in enough effort that I would keep playing to see the end. I edited my game to afford the next hero though, to make things go faster.I'm up to level 775. I think they game tops out at 1000. I've got thousands and thousands of souls, and have maxed out a few ancients. I made it up to * level of gold... after that, it goes to scientific notation, no more symbols. I'm up to 3.805e69. Not sure how many heroes are left. Dread Knight -> Atlas -> Terra Just bought Terra, after having the low level ones (tree and brit up to level 2k), and he's now 95% of my damage. Terra cost 8e69. I cheated to the final hero, and like 1,234M hero souls, maxxed out a lot of things. Still couldn't get past level 2,500 or so.There are only a few milestones left for me, so I might get those then quit. Posted by TPRJones on Mar. 27 2015,19:48
I've been loading up it twice a day (morning and evening) long enough to trigger all the skills and let it rush through a level or two, then saving and closing. Advancement is very slow, but it makes it enjoyable again in those tiny bursts.

That's how I've done it from the start.

I'm intrigued... but I'm totally cheating. I can't see how people would otherwise get to level 3000

In the mid/high-2000's gold got really hard to get. I gave myself more ancients, and get a lot of gold now by putting a lot of them into the gold bonuses. My click damage is 3 orders of magnitude > than my DPS. So it's all about the click bot. Posted by TheCatt on Mar. 30 2015,19:00

Posted by TPRJones on Apr. 22 2015,03:45
Do you have the ancient that gives you extra DPS while idle? If so it could be turning that off temporarily when you click Dark Ritual.

What macro program are you using for mouse clicks?
Posted by TPRJones on Jun. 13 2015,21:45
I use < AutoClicker > set to 20 milliseconds for the clicking. Sometimes when I want to do more complex automation I'll use < Pulover's Macro Creator > set to focus the window, turn off auto-clicker, press 869123457, ctrl-click some levels on Frostleaf, then turn the autoclicker back on and set it to repeat with a 2.5m delay at the end (I've maxed my levels on the ancients to reduce cool downs). But this program is a bit clunky to use. There's bound to be a better one out there. Posted by Leisher on Jun. 14 2015,00:08
Thanks, I'll give it a try.

Apparently, there are immortals now too that require a clan to defeat. I'm not sure I understand the point of "set it and forget it". You just turn on the game and it plays itself? can that be any fun? Yes and no. I think it would depend on your personality and what you're looking to get out of it. There are actually four or more games like this on Steam: Clicker Heroes Adventure Capitalist Time Clickers Time Raiders There are more, but I don't remember their names. The games are basically about growth. Start with x and by killing enemies, gain cash, which then purchases skills, hit a certain level and reset but earning "modifiers", repeat, etc. Catt seemed to be ridiculously efficient at playing it. I'm not. Nor do I want to put entire evenings into it (not that he did...I honestly don't know how he moved so quickly through it). I'll launch it, do some upgrading, then let it run in the background. Eventually, I'll want a break from my work and pop it up to do more upgrades. The fun part for me is just gaining levels and power. Essentially, the core part of any RPG. So for me it's just a distraction. A "game" I can play at work for seconds or an hour if I really wanted to or something I can play while watching a movie I don't want to lose focus on because I'm playing something more in depth. If you're even curious about it, it's free and something like an 80MB download. You can also play it on the website clickerheroes.com. Posted by TheCatt on Aug. 17 2015,10:08
I used a clickbot.
Posted by Leisher on Aug. 17 2015,10:14
By "clickbot", do you mean an automated program that clicks on that site only, and you can go do other things while it's working, like the bots for the Bing Rewards thing?I use an autoclicker. Actually, the one TPR recommended. It gets slightly annoying at later levels as I can't use my PC for other things if I'm on a run and don't want to lose the combo bonuses. What ancients did you purchase and max out? I assume you upgraded the "click combo damage" one, but how far did you upgrade him? Posted by Leisher on Aug. 18 2015,12:09
So did any of you guys who played this do the gilded heroes strategy? Where you make certain heroes the only ones gilded until certain levels, then switch them to another and so on?

I didn't get as far as Catt, but eventually I transferred almost all my gilds to Frostleaf and didn't level up anyone else but him except for the bare minimum needed to get the skills. That seemed to be a good strategy.

QUOTE I don't remember what a gild is anymore. You get a randomly Gilded hero at 100 and then every 10 levels after that. The Gild gives them a new look and +50% damage. QUOTE I didn't get as far as Catt, but eventually I transferred almost all my gilds to Frostleaf and didn't level up anyone else but him except for the bare minimum needed to get the skills. That seemed to be a good strategy. I have read you're supposed to put all your Gilds on Treebeast and a few other early heroes until they're level 500 and you're one hitting everything. At that point you're supposed to move them to the Samurai chick until 2500, again until you're one hitting everything to that point. Then you're supposed to move them to Atlas, and then Terra, and so on. I assume they don't mean every ascension because that would be ridiculously inefficient and expensive? < Wiki discussing it. > Posted by TPRJones on Aug. 20 2015,08:16
I don't remember what level I was at, but when I started a new ascension I was almost immediately able to get Frostleaf and skip all those lesser heroes entirely.
Posted by Leisher on Aug. 20 2015,08:19
So you no longer level them? Do you leave them at 0?
Posted by TPRJones on Aug. 20 2015,08:35
Yup. I pump all of that into just Frostleaf, who has 150 gilds on him.

Posted by TheCatt on Aug. 20 2015,09:51
Yeah, what TPR said. You level up whoever, then eventually you go to the next hero, rinse/repeat. This is when the game got boring for me.
Posted by TPRJones on Aug. 20 2015,17:22
Highest Zone: 2156World Ascensions: 107 Current Stats Zone: 1770 Frostleaf Level: 3681 Frostleaf Damage: 6.273e122 Just enough levels on other heroes to get the activated skills and no more. Only the activated skills selected, not any of the other upgrades on the heroes; Frostleaf is doing all the damage. Frostleaf has all the gilds. I have purchased all the ancients and maxed out those that have a max. The rest I've been putting a pretty even split into both the non-click and the click ones. I let it non-click up until it slows down, then switch to click until that's not pushing up fast enough anymore either, then ascend. I don't know if this is the "right" way to do it, but it seems pretty good so far. But then I'm nowhere near as far as Catt. Posted by TPRJones on Aug. 20 2015,18:33
Although I just realized I was skipping the heroes that give crit chance. Oops. Need to get those crit chance skills, too. That'll help. Posted by TheCatt on Aug. 20 2015,19:43

5K is the highest I've seen someone say they were at, but I haven't looked a lot. If you're online, join a clan to fight the titan things or whatever they're called. I'm in a clan called Trance Click which is a random clan I joined with a bunch of folks around my level. I've heard that if you created a clan and brought me in, you could essentially eliminate all my building time and get me on par with you almost immediately. That's tempting, but I really want to hit that level on my own. I was clearly not paying attention to the math. I thought it was a very straight forward, next guy is the best until the next guy formula. Posted by TheCatt on Aug. 21 2015,06:59
I tried to join your guild but it was full.Left the game on overnight, and hit InfinK gold again, so I guess I'm stuck. I requested to join some random guild, so we'll see what that does. Posted by Leisher on Aug. 21 2015,07:07
If anyone joins the Steam version, I can join a clan over there. That account I'm MUCH farther in the game. I'm right at lvl 2k, so I wouldn't mind teaming up with higher or lower level folks. If fact, I've got 100 gems, so I could start a clan there if need be. Posted by TPRJones on Aug. 21 2015,10:20
QUOTE I thought it was a very straight forward, next guy is the best until the next guy formula. This is generally mostly true, but there are exceptions. Frostleaf is one of the stronger heroes in terms of DPS per level cost and King Midas is one of the weakest. Add on top of that an absurd number of gilds on Frostleaf and he can beat DPS per cost compared to the heroes that follow him up to about level 4000. It turns out once he's passed that I should be switching to the one furthest down that I can then afford (which I believe is Alabaster). It's all due to those powers of 10. If you get a chance to double your damage it's got to be cheap to be worth it, because doubling is nothing at all compared to the exponential progression of the levels. So skip anything you don't have to pay for that doesn't have a big return; there's more powerful things down the list to spend it on instead. Posted by TPRJones on Aug. 22 2015,14:48

Key notes from the latest update (I don't think these are on Steam yet):-Numbers now grow infinitely and the game lasts forever... -Heroes have x4 and x10 multipliers for a lot more levels. -Click combos start decaying after about 5 minutes. -Clan rewards are now capped at 10% of your lifetime Primal Souls, not 10% of your lifetime total souls. I have come to the conclusion that this game is sadistic for completionists like me. The only way to win is to not play the game!Anyway, they've added a lottery. I don't know how it works. Is it for everyone or just me? I'm thinking just for each individual because someone would have won it by now. The prize right now is 2 billion + souls and climbing. The idea is you click on a bloop (off the main attack area) and each click gives you a random number. If you randomly get 292,201,338 then you win the prize. So far the closest I've gotten is 292,201,336 as it keeps track. Using an auto clicker, I've now "entered" just shy of 6.5 million times. I think winning that will be my last act in this game. I've already decided I'm leaving Adventure Capitalist once I complete the Moon and Earth, and that'll be a good time to walk from this one too. Posted by TheCatt on Jan. 29 2016,10:50
