Buy this if you see if for $5. It's worth $10 easily, but only to those of you who will spend the time experiencing all that it has to offer.

Remember the narrator in Bastion and how he'd talk about what you were actually doing? Well this one takes that idea (although this game is actually older than Bastion) and makes the narrator even more entertaining. I'm not going to tell you what to do, but experiment...

There's no real story. Basically, you work in an office, everyone has vanished, and you're trying to escape.

It's how you try to escape, and listening to the hilarious description of what you're doing that's worth the time and effort. The developer really went out of his way to figure out all the angles. If you experiment enough, you'll even find your way to a museum that shows off a lot of how the game was made.

Even the achievements are cool. One I had to google, and honestly, never would have figured out. Others require some trickery. Others are straightforward. The hardest one is the speed run, but you have to set yourself up for the speed run to be successful. Let me save you some headaches too: The speed run is no joke. Even when you get everything setup, you cannot hesitate even a second. You have to beat the game in 4 minutes and 22 seconds, and that's very specific for a reason. I ran a perfect course and according to my stopwatch, got out at 4 minutes and 21 seconds.

Did I mention there are multiple endings, and yes, they're fun to try and reach.

The Stanley Parable is art and a game. This is the one I'd use to shove in the face of the assholes who say games aren't art. But while it's art, it's fun and entertaining. Check out some of those Steam reviews. You know when the reviewers are continuing the joke, you're onto something special.

I highly recommend it, although it won't be for everyone. This isn't survival horror or your typical run and gun FPS. It's just you walking around an office building while an English guy talks down to you.

It's awesome.
