Gave it a try because I own it and it has a decent rating.I don't think I'm going to be a fan. I've only played a little bit, but the third person view is killing me. Get to close to a building and I'm staring at the back of my head REALLY close up. That's the only major thing, but I've just never been a fan of third person. The other thing that bothers me is the combo moves. There are around a billion. LC - Attack one LC LC - Attack two LC LC LC - Attack three LC LC LC LC - Attack four Now add a click and hold in the combos for more attacks. Now hold the S key for even more attacks. You can hold the Alt key for even more. That's just what I've unlocked so far. There are pages and pages of others. Ummmm. Over kill? Do I need to use all these? Are there certain monsters I have to use these on to be successful? I think so. Because I've already found some monsters that I have to jump, attack, double jump, attack and hold combo thing to kill without dying. Basically, they have a sweeping attack that I have to be in the air to avoid. That move doesn't work on others because they reach up and grab me and throw me down. So, ya, it's not for me, I think. I may give it some more time, but with the 867 games in the "to play" list, I may just skip this rather than try to force my way through it. |
