< Pilots in Miami spot a drone while landing. >I've been told that regulations concerning drones are coming. Already there were concerns about privacy because most are equipped with cameras and damage that's been done by out of control drones (like at Yellowstone). This adds another level that'll surely have our politicians excited that they can pretend they're effective at their jobs by slapping bans on these drones. Posted by Malcolm on Jan. 28 2016,14:16
This has been a long time coming. Flying cameras that can be tiny and hard to see plus heavier ones that can fall out of the air and damage people or things? I can't believe they've put it off for this long.

They need to be careful how they write it. If they limit it to only camera drones it could be struck down as an unconstitutional limitation in the same way that the laws about not recording cops are being struck down. It has to limit all drones regardless of purpose.

< Do you like drones >? Say hello to hardcore regulation.QUOTE The world’s largest drone maker is releasing a new consumer drone with camera that can lock onto a person or animal and follow them, avoid objects in its path and fly back to its base on its own.
