I'm a bit tipper, so I think it would fuck workers out of additional money, but maybe that average out with bad tippers? Will they work as hard? As long as they get paid enough in salary to make the difference it makes sense, and reportedly workers at these places are happier because their income is steadier. And studies have shown that quality of service only effects tips by 1% anyway. Any servers that have realized this would already fall into the postulated not working as hard category if that were a thing.< Adam Ruins Everything > did a pretty decent video on it. I saw a woman's FB post about this issue and she said, "Where's the motivation to refill drinks or check on a table?"I was thinking, "Weird.
