Or, roast beef or whatever it is.

I'm glad you mentioned BBQ. This may start a war, but all these trips to SC have exposed me to some offerings there. I am not a fan of vinegar based sauces.

Vinegar is good for marinading, not for sticking to meat at the later stages (or after) of the cooking process.

Vinegar-based grew on me.  My local place in eastern Carolina was vinegar based, so it was all I had convenient access to, so I learned to love it over time.

I love you and miss you, Smithfield's Chicken and Barbecue.

A lack of options doesn't make the only option a good one.

You don't know what barbecue is.

God that place is disgusting.  And it's a chain.  Ugh.

You disgust me.  I can't believe I'm on the same forums as someone who likes eastern style BBQ.

I demand an apology and a retraction.

Enjoying apples does not require one to hate oranges.

Man, fucking Austin.  They didn't have the best BBQ in the state, but they had the largest concentration of good-enough-to-eat BBQ in the state for a metropolitan city.  Now there won't be a damn thing left of any value inside the city limits.
