Remember the CFO that chewed out the Chick-Fil-A employee?

< That moment cost him a LOT of money. >

Sucks his kids have to pay for the fact their dad is a gigantic douche.

My guess is that what mostly screwed him on this wasn't that he went off on the girl.  Everyone does things in the heat of the moment that they wish they hadn't.  I think what messed him up was that he filmed it himself and even after getting to review the footage thought he should post it to youtube.

I would think most businesses would look at that sort of decision making power and decide he's not fit to watch after their dogs, much less their money/

Agreed.  All he really did with that video was demonstrate that we was probably not capable of being relied on to make good decisions.  I have almost no sympathy for how things have turned out.

He should probably be looking for a more regular job instead of trying to get back into management.  There are a lot of people in the world that have jobs below the level of CFO that don't have to be on food stamps, so his train of bad decisions is probably chugging right along.

EDIT: Oh, and I'd change the title of this thread to "When free speech goes right".  This is how it's supposed to work.  He did something a lot of people didn't like.  He wasn't persecuted by the government because Free Speech, but neither was he free of consequence for his actions.  That's working as intended.

If you start costing your employer money, you oughtn't be shocked when they fire you.  Same shit I said when one of the beards from that duck show kept spouting off during interviews.
