I do completely agree that these "chains" probably should go away. I love the concept of paying for the person behind you, but by no means should they feel obligated to do the same. Yeah, if the Starbucks employees would quit asking if they want to continue it, then the whole thing would become less annoying. Let it happen or not organically.
