Politician is not and was never meant to be a profession in our system. It was designed to be something that the wise elders did once they retired from their life-long professions. Congressmen should be paid little more than enough to maintain a residence in DC and run their offices, and that's it.Clearly Moran doesn't understand that in the slightest.
