QUOTE “My parents simply will not help me any longer. They want nothing to do with me and refuse to even help me financially outside the home although they certainly have the ability to do so. … I am unable to support myself and provide for my food, shelter, clothing, transportation and education." Get a job, ya bum. Maybe look into soup kitchens and finding a nice bridge to live under. Posted by GORDON on Mar. 04 2014,15:16
And she should keep in mind that she has the looks to be a medium range whore.

QUOTE She claims that her parents, Sean and Elizabeth Canning, kicked her out of their Lincoln Park house when she turned 18 in October, which they deny. Dad Sean Canning says she left voluntarily because she didn't want to follow their house rules concerning curfew and chores. "Private school, new car, college education; that all comes with living under our roof," he told ABC News station WABC-TV. My sympathy level might actually be negative. No pity for any of them.As Adam Carolla says, "Nature or nurture? Take your pick." Posted by GORDON on Mar. 04 2014,18:02
From what I remember as a single man, women go crazy at the age of 15 until, about.... ummmm......

College is starting to look like a really expensive social security card to me. Have to have one to get a job, but otherwise not of much use or meaning.

(Vince @ Mar. 05 2014,08:02) QUOTE College is starting to look like a really expensive social security card to me. Have to have one to get a job, but otherwise not of much use or meaning. College used to be about higher education. Folks went there to train further in fields that required additional study, like medicine. Now every retard who can earn a high school degree gets pushed towards college. For what? Degrees in horseshit. My co-worker has a 4 year degree in Information Technology and will tell you that it was a complete waste of time and did nothing to prepare him for his job. Posted by TPRJones on Mar. 05 2014,06:48
QUOTE Now every retard who can earn a high school degree gets pushed towards college. The counselors push everyone to go for a four-year academic degree, regardless of if it would be good fro the student or not. It's infuriating. Posted by Cakedaddy on Mar. 05 2014,07:41
I call them sales people.

College still has a lot of value for a lot of people. For me, the best part was exploring so many different areas, viewpoints, etc. Being able to talk to professors and TA about their experiences, or various areas. I don't love how people are pushed towards or, or sold on the "get a college degree and life will be perfect" premise. there's lots of paths through life.

Shit, you can get that with all the retired guys at McDonalds in the morning for a shit ton less than $50k. Like... for a buck. And I promise they've had a lot more experience in their life than 98% of your professors that have spent their entire adult lives institutionalized. Not trying to completely bash college, but not seeing a great value for the money spent. Posted by Malcolm on Mar. 05 2014,09:02
QUOTE Not trying to completely bash college, but not seeing a great value for the money spent. That's my primary complaint. Did it have no value whatsoever? Nah. But even in the most generous light I can imagine, 90% of it was biased bullshit. 9% was info that was theoretically useful but practically worthless. The remaining 1% is not worth the five digits I was charged. Posted by Malcolm on Mar. 12 2014,10:23

Think the parents will get her attorney's bill next?

< The latest. >Here's what got my attention: QUOTE Since her falling out with her parents, Rachel has been living with the family of a friend, Jaime Inglesino, in Rockaway Township. Father John Inglesino, a former township mayor and powerful attorney, is funding Rachel’s lawsuit. I'd bet $50 that's she's fucking him. Oh, and a fucking lawyer is behind all this...color me shocked. Posted by Vince on Mar. 17 2014,11:00
At this point I'm losing all respect for the parents as well.
