Funny and sad at the same time.  Schadenfreude alert.

This happened to a friend of mine in college.  Had to take a year off of school... no guilt, no anything...

Judith Grossman is such a hypocrite.  How could she defend her rape-monster of a son like that, spitting in the face of the poor girl that was violated by doubting her story?  Judith used to be a champion of women everywhere, but now she's a slave to the penis rape culture.

Common sense and practical application of knowledge have no place at any university in this country.

I am a feminist. I have marched at the barricades, subscribed to Ms. magazine, and knocked on many a door in support of progressive candidates committed to women's rights.  Until a month ago, I would have expressed unqualified support for Title IX and for the Violence Against Women Act.

You're a tool.  People like you are why this bullshit is in place to begin with.  I'm pretty sure you'd give it your unqualified support just because of the name.  If it had been more correctly called the "Giving Bitches Free License to Take Revenge Against their Ex-Boyfriends Act," you wouldn't have supported it.  Maybe you should read more than just the title.  Maybe the candidates you shill for should, too.

Thankfully, I happen to be an attorney and had the resources to provide the necessary professional assistance to my son.

Maybe you shouldn't be a lawyer you can only read the title page of a document or get suckered by a righteous sounding name.  "But your honor, my client, Mr. Flanders, couldn't have committed the crime in question.  His name is Flanders, come on!"

QUOTE
I fear that in the current climate the goal of "women's rights," with the compliance of politically motivated government policy and the tacit complicity of college administrators, runs the risk of grounding our most cherished institutions in a veritable snake pit of injustice...

Unbridled feminist orthodoxy is no more the answer than are attitudes and policies that victimize the victim.

The outrage is noted, but I can't help but notice this conclusion was only reached after a close family member was directly affected.  If he hadn't been, she'd be remarking about what an awesome policy this is, mainly because she wouldn't have had to take the time to read the insane details.  Anyone think this is a women who's going to change her voting habits because of this?  I'm willing to bet she'll blindly support whatever candidate her progressive PACs tell her to.  Does she, anywhere in that piece, state that the bullshit should be repealed?  Nope.

Imagine a world where every single legal infringement is so layered with complex bureaucracy, case law, and precedent that you have to hire a specialist to handle it or just flat out can't defend yourself.  I believe it's called "lawyer heaven."
