Already seen it spun as, "Proof that people walking around armed only make the mass-shooting situations worse."

The NYPD said officers fired 16 rounds with one officer shooting nine and another seven.

But of course.

Wait, they fired sixteen shots and between them 56.25% of those shots hit innocent bystanders?  Really?

It sounds like we need to give citizens permits to carry and take the guns away from those dangerous cops.

Thank political correctness and unions.

Cops are no longer hired on their proficiency and knowledge of the job. They're hired to fill quotas and shitty cops keep their jobs thanks to unions. They allow cops to do piss poor in the shooting range. They allow them to get morbidly obese, you know, because no part of the job requires a person to be in shape...

They aren't trained to unload their weapons. They aren't even supposed to discharge them around civilians like that unless a matter of life and death. Did you see how these two assclowns were moving while firing, out of cover, and doing so with one arm?

16 shots to bring down one moron that's within 10 yards. Unbelievable.

Sure have been a fuckload of random shooting events this year. Or maybe they are just getting more press for some reason.

No.

Only 3 were hit directly, the other 6 were injured by shrapnel.

Still.  I can see from the video that they did need to take some drastic measures of some sort, but at the same time firing wildly at the crowd seems grossly incompetent.

Shrapnel still counts.  The cops were fucking idiots.

A day at your typical police shooting range (instructors are in white)

More glory for the NYPD.

They shot a hostage to death as he got away from the criminals holding out in his deli.

Looks like they're as careful driving as they are at shooting.

A police officer responding to the robbery was also injured in a car crash with an SUV on Third Avenue and Boston Road -- about a mile away from the bodega.  The crash demolished the NYPD cruiser and the officer had to be extricated from the vehicle.

The driver of the Range Rover that crashed with cops was treated and released, but the NYPD officer remains hospitalized at Lincoln Hospital in critical but stable condition, police said.

The details surrounding the accident aren't clear, but a woman who identified herself as the wife of the SUV driver is lashing out at police.

"Everybody who was here told me he was at the red light, police were speeding and hit him," she said.

Did you look at his picture?  Maybe if he hadn't been running around being brown this wouldn't have happened.

bodega worker may have been mistakenly shot and killed by police

They keep saying "may have been".

They aren't sure?  They might have missed and he's still alive?  They may have missed and he died of old age?  May have been shot on purpose and not by mistake?  If police shoot you, and you die, how does that become "may have been shot and killed by police"?

A man police say shot himself in the head while his hands were cuffed behind him in the back of an Arkansas patrol car tested positive for methamphetamine, anti-anxiety medication and other drugs, according to an autopsy report released Monday that listed his death as a suicide.

The state crime lab report said the muzzle of a handgun that Chavis Carter apparently concealed from arresting officers was placed against his right temple when it was fired.

Holy fucking Stretch Armstrong.
