< On cigarette boxes. >I used to really think Australia was pretty cool, but the more I learn about their politics down under, the more I think it'd be a nice place to visit, but never live.
Not that I think everyone should be puffing up, but this is more about government shitting on business, and their citizens' personal freedom.
Does anyone doubt that soon drinking and the food we eat will be next on the "you must change your habits for the greater good" train?

Never got that vibe from them. In terms of personality of gov't, Australia doesn't have quite as rigid a stick up its as the UK, but it's damn close. You'd think a place founded by convicts would be more laid back, particularly compared to the dudes that convicted them.

Im pretty sure I Come From a Land Down Under painted a different picture too.

Can't wait until I go to buy a Three Musketeers bar and it has a picture of Honey Boo Boo's mom on it warning me about weight gain. Or when I buy a bottle of Jack Daniels and the label is a picture of the aftermath of a car crash caused by a drunk driver.
