< http://borepatch.blogspot.com/2012....12.html >QUOTE The Republicans entirely control the Power of the Purse, and they refuse to use it to rein in Obama. And yet we're supposed to believe that somehow putting a sad sack Republican in 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue will make things different? Please. And so, I'm back to my argument that re-electing Obama, and letting him boil the frog fast (because he will be in a hurry in the last of his terms) is the best approach. No way in Hell am I voting for Obama, though. I don't think I could ever wash my hands enough times afterward. Posted by GORDON on Mar. 07 2012,20:03
So, do the same thing again and expect different results. Got it.

Personally, yeah, I don't have any confidence in anyone with a chance of getting elected, but with my 2 options being a guy who now has a proven record for being a shitty President, and someone who merely may be a shitty President, the answer is obvious.Voting for Ron Paul. I think the other point was: the worse, the better. We're screwed, and everybody knows it. It's like the black hole: the only hope of getting out is to bull right through it as fast as you can. Well, there is the added bonus that if Obama loses, it REALLY upsets a lot of hippies, and they will be vocal about it and a hippie's tears always make me smile. Posted by TPRJones on Mar. 08 2012,06:26
