So I'm reading an article about Mike McQueary, who is a central figure in the Penn State scandal when I noticed the "News for You" side bar.

All news sites use this area to recommend other news stories to its readers. Here is every story listed as suggested reading:
-Obama speaks with Merkel, Sarkozy over euro crisis
-Poll: Obama Turns It Around Against Generic Republican
-Obama: GOP goals would hurt women
-Obama: Republicans driving Latino votes his way
-Reggie Love, Obama’s ‘little brother,’ to exit the White House
-Obama "body man" Reggie Love leaving White House
-Obama donor discussed solar loan with White House
-White House defends Obama's Pacific journey
-Obama Mideast adviser leaving White House
-Report: Reggie Love, Obama's Personal Aide, Leaving White House

Multiple countries in Europe are crashing, Penn State is dealing with possibly the biggest scandal ever to hit a university, the economy is tanking, protestors are in the streets throughout the country and deaths are now involved, the Republicans just had a debate and are fighting to figure out who their candidate will be, Congress is working on a deficit deal, etc., etc., etc. and all Yahoo can post is Obama themed stories?

Yeah, there's no bias there...

Ha!

I'm sure that's a part of it, but Yahoo has always been pretty biased towards the left. It's very, very rare that they post a positive piece about the GOP, and they are very much up Obama's ass.

I read an article on Google's impact on the world we perceive.
Right wing people click more right wing links, so when Google suggests things to them they tend to follow those interests.
Left wingers clock more left wink links, so Google suggests more left wing stories for them.

As a result, people are being exposed to a narrower field of information, and from their perspective it looks more and more like the popular viewpoint.

I'd guess that Yahoo does the same thing.

...must be all those "Obama naked" searches you've been doing.
