I got mad at the pediatrician at one of our "well visits" a while back, because she was asking something about guns. The AAP is very anti-gun. I tried to make an argument about SIDS, too, but the doctors just don't freaking listen.There are roughly 10 risk factors for SIDS, which can double/triple/whatever the rate at which it occurs. So I asked the doctor what the odds were for children with none of those risk factors. Silence. Yeah, my kids mostly slept on their bellies, cuz they slept better that way. |
