I know we probably already have one, but I'm lazy.

This is my favorite part:
QUOTE
In an interview with former advertising executive and Climate Reality Project collaborator Alex Bogusky

No mention of whether Larry McLiar or Fred Fakerson were involved.

Is that the article where he compares global warming deniers to racists?

Yeah, according to the headline.

Read that the other day, and was going to post it but I got distracted by something.

Good thing all the angry rhetoric ended when that congressman got shot.

Someone, I think it was TMQ  (I looked, and it was) which is surprising since he's pretty liberal, bashed the shit out of Gore recently. He pointed out how Gore publicly promoted two other "end of the world/mankind" predictions in the past.

Gore pushed the whole < we're all going sterile > doomsday prediction, < which is bullshit. >

He also pushed < the prediction that we're all going to die of a super bug, > which hasn't happened.

TMQ also mentions < The Population Bomb > which predicted (incorrectly) that by now we would've lost millions to famine and the wars that resulted from the famine. In fact, death from starvation is declining. He isn't clear about whether or not Gore promoted that scenario.

Anyway, it's quite clear that Gore is Chicken Little only a Nazi version. Look at this:
QUOTE
“Secondly, back to this phrase ‘win the conversation,’” he continued. “There came a time when friends or people you work with or people you were in clubs with — you’re much younger than me so you didn’t have to go through this personally — but there came a time when racist comments would come up in the course of the conversation and in years past they were just natural. Then there came a time when people would say, ‘Hey, man why do you talk that way, I mean that is wrong. I don’t go for that so don’t talk that way around me. I just don’t believe that.’ That happened in millions of conversations and slowly the conversation was won.”

“We have to win the conversation on climate,” Gore added.

That is not "winning a conversation". That is squashing any and all opposing viewpoints by simply refusing to hear what they have to say.

If a racist is a narrow minded bigot who refuses to correct his ignorance with facts, then I would ask Mr. Gore to re-examine his little scenario and explain how his group aren't the racists...
