Yeah... I cannot count the number of times I've been told that.  I also live in North Carolina, so we had tons of those old-timey windows that were thicker on the bottom, "distorted from time," etc, etc.

Yeah, but it ain't because glass flows.  You ever ask these dudes for a measure of glass's viscosity?  I'd love to see that experiment.

I'd been told that growing up, too, but I learned awhile back that it was untrue.

Right, I know this.  I'm just saying, it's amazing to me how many times I was told this.

I'd actually never heard that before.

Maybe public schools in the south fill science class with creationist theory instead of science? ;)
