On the one hand, not fixing it before election day is very bad.  I'm sure if it were the incumbent governor running for reelection, it would be fixed in time.

On the other hand, this is probably the best thing to happen to his career.  The poll results indicate almost no one has ever heard of him before.  Now they have.

Heck, I'd vote for him just for the fun of it, so I could see that review screen.  Just like I'd also vote for a candidate named Crazy Blackman, Geeky Asianguy, or Ditzy Bimbo.

You could start an entire political movement -- the Stereotypical Party.

I'd definitely vote for Rich Whitey, knowing nothing else about the candidates.

Figure he's rich for a reason.

John Calvin would be proud of you.

I believe it was Spain last week that elected a clown to congress. Actually did apperances in his outfit. His slogan. "Couldn't do any worse could I?"

"I don't want to be identified as 'Whitey.' If this is happening in primarily African-American wards, that's an even bigger concern," Whitney, the Green party candidate, told the Sun-Times.

Don't worry, Whitey.  Those voters can't read anyway.

Went to Virginia this weekend.  Apparently a guy named Robert Hurt is running for Congress up there:

The fun part is all the huge signs on the highway that say:

HURT
U.S. Congress

Now that's a sentiment I believe we can all get behind.
