We've got the federal government moving to allow illegals more free access to the country through Arizona, and now they are making it more difficult for servicemen, typically republican voters, to vote.

Next thing you know the executive branch will take over the census and the schools will be packed with liberal teachers to catch 'em while they're young.

“It is just offensive to most Americans that we can send soldiers to the front lines but they can't vote,” said Eversole. “This is an issue that tugs at the heartstrings of America..."

Well, apparently not.

It tugs at my pissed-off strings.

They can't mail something 45 day ahead of Election day?  Does the date change every year?  The level of incompetence that is shown continues to surprise me.  Maybe I'm setting my sights to high with doing you damn job.

When's the revolution?  I'll need 45 days notice.

It isn't incompetence.  It's malice.

No, I'm pretty much voting "incompetence" on this one.

The inability to mail an absentee ballot a month earlier than usual, it's impossible to be that incapacitated and still get yourself to work.  Sticking with malice.

Working a gov't job doesn't require you to be conscious the entire eight hours.

I agree with Malcolm.  I work in the midst of people who would be unable as an institution to meet that sort of requirement.  It is - to a degree - malicious, but not in a "don't let those guys vote" way as much as it is a "don't tell me how to run my little tyrannical kingdom" way.  Everything is politics and pissing on each other's shoes.

If they were actually able to get things done they would be working a real job somewhere.

I've seen too much hate from the left toward anyone not like them.

While I agree there might be malice there, I don't think these people are smart enough to coordinate screwing you over more than just plain not wanting to work.

It doesn't have to be anything organized, it just takes a bunch of individuals who think the ends justify the means.

The end goal of a typical gov't worker's day goes something like this ...

"Hmm, how much nothing can I do today while still drawing a paycheck?  Oh yeah ... lots."
