Secondly, that bitch's comments are...let's be nice and say they're "misguided". Her attitude is one of the biggest obstacles this country is facing right now. A bunch of different groups who think their race, religious belief, ethnicity, etc. is more important than everyone else's. Guess what? It doesn't mean shit. This country is a melting pot, not a stew pot. So shut your ignorant pie hole and melt. You're a U.S. citizen, you're not a Mexican. Interesting, the school district (who probably had the assistance of their lawyer) disagreed with the school's administrators.QUOTE The five boys and their families met with a Morgan Hill Unified School District official Wednesday night. The district and the school do not see eye-to-eye on the incident and released the following statement:
The district does not concur with the Live Oak High School administration's interpretation of either board or district policy related to these actions. The boys will not be suspended and were allowed to return to school Thursday. We spotted one of them when he got to campus -- and, yes, he was sporting an American flag T-shirt. Every now and then you hear stories that some group complains about the display of the US flag, being that it's "offensive" and all. I think it's a good rule of thumb that if you live in a certain country, you like that country enough that you ought to be able to tolerate its flag. If you find the *flag* offensive, maybe you need to consider a move.
