On a personal level I don't mind one bit what has happened to him. However:QUOTE “Hydro One is taking steps to terminate one of its employees for violating its code of conduct,” said the company’s director of communications, Daffyd Roderick. “Respect for all people is ingrained in our values. We’re committed to a work environment where harassment of any kind is met with zero tolerance and a swift response.” Does he work at the stadium? Or are they asserting that the entire fucking planet is their "work environment"? Posted by Leisher on May 26 2015,21:59
< FIFA officials arrested on corruption charges. >This is actually shocking. FIFA is corrupt as fuck and has been for a LONG time. They need to go after the Olympics next. Posted by TheCatt on May 27 2015,11:24

< Blatter > reelected.
Posted by Leisher on May 29 2015,11:08
Not surprising at all. His corruption is probably very well rooted, so the very people doing the voting are probably just as guilty as he is, and thus, they're protecting "their guy". Posted by Leisher on May 29 2015,12:00

That his smartest move. Resign and be protected as a hero by those countries who still support him or stay in power and fight as the rest constantly try to remove and prosecute him. Posted by Malcolm on Jun. 09 2015,10:36
< Aussies > are really bad losers. Probably a complex from starting out as a land populated entirely by convicts.

I agree that the US tactics were absurd. Plenty of talented players, and a luxury of a few very technical, athletic, stand outs. However, instead of using those strengths, the US Women played hoofball, which probably worked when our Target Striker, Abby Wambach, was 25. She's 35 now on the field you can see the difference - her flubbed open header should have been buried, that's what she's supposed to bring to the table now. We got lucky because my favorite USWNTer, Megan Rapinoe (i've said how much I like her before in some other thread here) Scored two goals and got the hockey assist for the third. Balled hard all over the field. It's annoying to watch a team that we know to be talented, technical and very capable play such shitty soccer outside of a few individual moments of brilliance. That said, Australia's just salty about the loss, Chelsea did that shit all season in the EPL, still won the league. Nobody blinked an eye. Posted by Paul on Jul. 04 2015,21:58

It's not, but if the ref didn't see it then it didn't happen.

Watched - the U23 Colombian team they played against was fucking huge. Their back 4 looked like NFL linebackers compared to most of the US team - and totally outclassed us. The talent pipeline not looking too hot.
