Yesterday:Wife has misplaced her sunglasses. She is searching the house getting more and more irritated. Wife: I can't find them! I know they have to be here! Did you notice when I had them on last? Me: (Detecting danger now that her attention is on me) No, I can't recall where I saw you with them, last. Also, this is going to end up being my fault, right? Wife: Of course not.
